Basking in the golden glow of Rhodes’ sun-kissed shores, the Atrium Presgite Thalasso and Spa reigns supreme as an oasis of luxury, tranquility, and ultimate privacy, offering a panoramic retreat – a haven we explored firsthand during our recent stay there. Stepping onto the property, you’re instantly cocooned in a private sanctuary of peacefulness, a world away from the hustle and bustle of other hotels. Lushly manicured gardens, adorned with fragrant flowers and cascading waterfalls, unfold before you, providing a tranquil escape. Meanwhile, the infinity pool seamlessly blends water and sky, painting a breathtaking panorama.Â
Â
The private beach, with its crystal-clear waters and soft pebbled shoreline, beckons you to relax and unwind. This near-private haven, untouched by the presence of other hotels, fosters a sense of exclusivity and intimacy, allowing guests like myself to fully appreciate the serenity of the surroundings.Â
Â
Indeed, as you’ll discover in our honest review of the Atrium Presgite Thalasso and Spa, this resort delivers an unforgettable experience for those seeking ultimate relaxation and luxury.
Seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating escape after a hectic year, our family of three – two adults and our eager 11-year-old daughter – embarked on a week-long adventure at the stunning Atrium Presgite Thalasso and Spa in July 2023. This haven of elegance, boasting direct beach access, sparkling pools, breathtaking vistas, and exquisite cuisine, perfectly aligned with our vision for a truly unforgettable vacation. Striking the perfect balance between luxury and value was paramount for us, as we craved an experience that pampered without breaking the bank.
Â
After meticulous research, diligently combing through hundreds of reviews, meticulously weighing the merits of various Greek islands and hotels, we pinpointed Atrium Prestige as the ideal destination. This wasn’t just based on the resort’s stunning beauty, exceptional service, and luxurious amenities at an attractive price point, but also on the promise it held for a truly rejuvenating experience – as I discovered in my honest review of the Atrium Presgite Thalasso and Spa. And let me tell you, it absolutely exceeded all our expectations!
Â
The resort itself is truly exceptional, offering an unparalleled experience… So, if you’re seeking a luxurious escape that recharges and rejuvenates, look no further than Atrium Presgite! Read our full and honest review to discover more about the resort’s offerings and amenities.
The resort is located just 3 kilometers from Lachania, a picturesque coastal town on the island of Rhodes. The hotel is situated approx. 76 kilometers from Rhodes International Airport (RHO), making it easily accessible for travelers arriving by air. The transfer takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to 1 hour and 40 minutes, and the estimated taxi fare is between €90 and €120.
There are two beautiful sights nearby the resort that are worth a visit: Lindos and Prasonisi Beach. Lindos is a charming village on the Greek island of Rhodes, crowned by an ancient acropolis and offering a captivating blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Prasonisi Beach is a unique destination on the southern tip of Rhodes, where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas converge, creating a paradise for kitesurfers, windsurfers, and sunseekers alike.
While the hotel’s east-facing orientation meant that we missed out on direct sunset views, we were still treated to a mesmerizing display of colors as the sun dipped below the horizon. The sky was ablaze with hues of orange, pink, and purple, painting the heavens in a symphony of light. The reflected colors danced upon the surface of the sea, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that was both breathtaking and unforgettable. Despite the absence of direct sunset views, the resort’s east-facing orientation provided us with a unique perspective on the sunrise – we enjoyed it on our last day only as we departed early, but early birds can enjoy this every morning.
Upon arriving at the resort, we were immediately captivated by its enchanting ambiance, setting the stage for a truly unforgettable stay. Perched atop a hill, the lobby offered breathtaking views of the shimmering pool expanse and the vast expanse of the Aegean Sea, a breathtaking panorama that left us awestruck. Further enhancing the sense of grandeur, the lobby’s vastness and luxurious décor evoked a feeling of sophistication and elegance.
Â
The check-in process, seamlessly and efficiently handled by the attentive staff, was a breeze. Their warm smiles, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel instantly welcome and truly cared for. Overall, the impression we gathered upon arrival was clear: the Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas was a place where every detail was meticulously considered, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Stepping into our deluxe sea view room No. 1233, situated on the highest (lobby) floor, was like entering a true sanctuary of relaxation and comfort. Immediately, we were greeted by an expansive balcony boasting panoramic views of the sea – a mesmerizing spectacle that unfolded before us. Furnished with comfortable chairs and a table, this private haven became our go-to spot for unwinding and soaking in the breathtaking vistas.
Â
Inside, the generously sized room was impeccably appointed, showcasing a king-sized bed that promised a haven of comfort and tranquility. To our daughter’s delight, an extra bed ensured a restful sleep for all three of us. The bathroom, adorned with marble tiles and modern fixtures, offered a luxurious retreat. A spacious whirlpool tub, double sink, and toilet provided all the necessities, while a small window connecting it to the bedroom bathed the space in natural light and enhanced the sense of spaciousness. A roller shade ensured privacy when needed, and the daily toiletries with olive and argan oil added a touch of luxury.
Â
While the furniture, with its art deco style, was new and stylish, it didn’t quite align with our personal preferences. However, the comfort factor was undeniable, with the beds, sheets, and pillows providing a blissful night’s sleep each evening. Ample storage space in the wardrobe kept our belongings organized, and the Nespresso machine and mini fridge were convenient additions to our stay.
Â
Our only minor quibble was the lack of a dedicated drying area for swimsuits, a common oversight in most hotels and resorts. We resorted to hanging them on the balcony chairs, which worked well enough, but a dedicated drying rack would have been more convenient.
The hotel boasts a diverse culinary scene with six distinct restaurants: Aegean (Mediterranean), Grill Corner (grilled meats and seafood), Asia (pan-Asian fusion), Prestigio (Italian), Lachania (Greek taverna), and Mesogeos (Mediterranean à la carte). Being on half board, we primarily frequented the Aegean Main Restaurant, the resort’s heart and soul for breakfast and dinner.
Â
The breakfast buffet is a symphony of flavors and options. Fresh fruits, a variety of yogurts, granolas, and mueslis greet you first, followed by refreshing salads like Greek, Caesar, and garden delights. Sweet tooths rejoice with an assortment of freshly baked pastries and breads, catering to all dietary preferences. Whether you desire classic eggs cooked to order, fluffy omelets, golden pancakes, or crispy waffles, the buffet caters to every craving. The omelet station adds a fun twist, allowing you to personalize your breakfast with your favorite fillings.
Â
Come dinnertime, the buffet truly shines. Featuring an abundance of locally sourced ingredients, it’s a nightly culinary adventure. Imagine being transported to the heart of the Mediterranean, Asia, or Greece within the restaurant’s walls. Succulent seafood platters, aromatic Asian stir-fries, and perfectly themed main courses (offered at no extra cost!) are just a glimpse into the culinary artistry on display. To complete the picture, a wide selection of hot and cold beverages quenches your thirst, from freshly brewed coffee to invigorating juices and smoothies.
Â
Adding the final touch is the impeccable service. Attentive and knowledgeable staff are always at hand to guide you through the vast offerings and ensure a truly exceptional dining experience. With all this under one roof, the Aegean Main Restaurant delivers a memorable culinary journey for every guest.
Stepping away from the hotel, a secluded haven awaits: the private beach. Unlike the bustling shores elsewhere, this oasis offers tranquility, shielded from the crowds and daily noise. While the soft, dark-colored pebbles underfoot might not be everyone’s cup of tea (we personally prefer the feel of soft, white sand), they add a unique character and charm to the beach. The contrast with the crystal-clear water, as clear as a bell, is truly stunning. Whether you’re diving in for a refreshing swim, exploring the underwater world with a snorkel, or simply splashing around, the water is simply perfect. However, due to the pebbles, water shoes are highly recommended, especially if you plan to stroll along the shoreline or wade in the shallows.
This near-private stretch of paradise, with no other hotels in sight, fosters a sense of exclusivity and intimacy. It’s the perfect place to truly embrace the tranquility of the surroundings and unwind completely.

Beyond the luxurious accommodations and impeccable service, several highlights truly elevated our stay at Atrium Prestige Thalasso & Spa:
Â
An Unforgettable Encounter: The most extraordinary experience was witnessing a hawksbill turtle lay eggs on the beach one evening. This magical moment, etched forever in our memories, solidified the resort’s commitment to preserving nature and provided a glimpse into the wonders of the local ecosystem.
Â
Breathtaking Panoramas: Every vantage point within the resort, from our room balcony to the lobby and even the restaurant, offered breathtaking panoramas. The mesmerizing views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding landscape served as a constant backdrop of beauty, adding an extra layer of enchantment to our entire stay.
Â
Culinary Symphony: The culinary delights were a revelation. Each meal was a symphony of flavors and textures that tantalized our taste buds and left us wanting more. From the diverse breakfast buffets to the themed dinners and the exquisite à la carte options, the resort’s culinary team truly excelled.
This resort caters to a variety of travelers, from solo adventurers and romantic couples to fun-loving families, all seeking a luxurious, relaxing, and pampering experience. The impeccable service and world-class spa, coupled with luxurious accommodations, create a truly indulgent escape for those looking to unwind and reconnect.
However, it’s important to consider your priorities. While the resort is perfect for relaxing and recharging, its secluded location might not be ideal for those seeking to explore the buzzing streets and vibrant restaurants of Rhodes’ most popular spots. Additionally, despite having elevators, the hilly terrain and numerous stairs make it less suitable for guests with walking disabilities.
Restaurant: Head to dinner early, however, as most nights you’ll be treated to a complimentary glass of prosecco or shot of ouzo.
Â
Room: For the best views, request a room on the lobby floor, which happens to be the highest and offers breathtaking panoramas.
Â
Minimarket: Don’t miss the hotel’s surprisingly large minimarket. Stock up on essentials like snacks, drinks, and more before heading out for adventures.
Â
Water shoes: Pack your water shoes! The beach has a pebbly surface, and these will keep your feet comfortable and protected.
Â
Turtles: Take an evening stroll along the beach and keep your eyes peeled for nesting sea turtles. If you witness this incredible sight, please remember to observe them silently from a respectful distance and avoid disturbing them in any way.
Â
Don’t get confused: Just a heads up, there are 3 Atrium hotels in Rhodes. For the luxurious experience we enjoyed, choose the Prestige one.
Â
Public transport: Exploring beyond the resort is easy! Public buses run regularly to Lindos, Prasonisi, and Rhodes Town. Ask the reception for the latest timetables and fares to plan your adventures.
Our stay at Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas was truly exceptional. This secluded haven offered the perfect escape from everyday life, thanks to its stunning views, luxurious amenities, and tranquil atmosphere. From the breathtaking panoramas that unfolded from our room, the restaurant, the lobby, and even the captivating outdoor amphitheater, every moment was a visual delight.
The resort’s commitment to relaxation was evident everywhere. Lush gardens invited quiet strolls, refreshing pools beckoned with cool dips, and the tranquil atmosphere soothed the soul. The enchanting chapel provided a magical backdrop for special moments, while the exceptional cuisine, prepared with fresh, local ingredients, delighted our taste buds with every bite. The impeccable service, from arrival to departure, ensured our every need was met with genuine warmth and attentiveness.
We left the resort feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and utterly content. The pictures online accurately portray the resort’s true splendor. If you seek a relaxing and luxurious vacation with stunning surroundings and breathtaking views, we highly recommend this extraordinary resort.
Â
Beyond the Stunning Scenery:
Â
The atmosphere at the hotel was very relaxed and elegant. The other guests were a well-mannered and sophisticated group, primarily European couples and families with children in their 50s and above. Their respectful demeanor created a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere throughout the resort.
Â
Value for Your Money:
Â
The hotel offered excellent value for money. While not cheap, the stunning property and amazing service justified the cost. Another hotel of this quality would likely be much higher.
